In-Club Competitions & Exhibitions

Cascade Stereoscopic Club hosts several competitions and exhibitions throughout the year. Competitions offer members a great opportunity to improve their stereoscopic (3D) photographic abilities.

The following events offer members the opportunity to compete locally with no entry fee. The club submits the best images from those entered by members into the corresponding competition to compete with the best images from other clubs. Members are invited to enter up to four stereo images per competition.

  • ISCC (International Stereo Club Competitions, also known as International 3D Interclub Competitions), sponsored by Photographic Society of America (PSA): Any PSA-member club with good standing (such as Cascade Stereoscopic Club) may enter. Cascade Stereoscopic Club members do not have to hold membership in PSA in order to participate. Each season has 3 rounds judged at our:
    • September meeting.
    • January meeting.
    • March meeting.
Members are encouraged to click here to enter their four best digital images for each round. The best six images (maximum of two from any individual) are submitted by the club for the ISCC competition. Each round awards best images and each club competes against other clubs; currently 7 clubs from the U.S.A. and 2 from Australia. After Round 3 an Image of the Year is chosen and the club earning the most points gets accolades.
  • International Stereoscopic Union (ISU) Folio. The Folio is collected twice each year at our:
    • February meeting.
    • June meeting.
Members are encouraged to click here to contribute their four best digital images for each Folio. The three best images, plus seven honorable mentions (total of ten images, with a maximum of two from any individual) are submitted by the club for the ISU Folio. The ISU then prepares the Folio containing the images from all participating clubs for exhibition at each club.
